PEGAZUS Announce New Bassist
August 2, 2004Australia's PEGAZUS have announced the addition of bassist Joe Fata to the group's ranks. "Joe is the ex-bass player/member of another cool Australian metal band, BLACK MAJESTY," the group write on their web site. "He was also the PEGAZUS lighting guy for the past couple of years as well. We have known Joe as a friend for quite awhile now and after having a few fun jam sessions together over the past couple of months, he has really slotted into the band so well.
"At the moment we are jamming away on a whole new setlist of songs which will also include some old classic PEGAZUS tunes, some songs that the band hasn't played in like 4 or even 8 years. This is very exciting for us to do and we hope that it will be very exciting for the fans too, especially once we hit the touring trail sometime next year. We are planning to have a huge setlist to rotate night after night, to keep it all fun, fresh and exciting for everyone!"
In other news, "We are right now preparing for the one and only show that PEGAZUS will play for the rest of this year," the band write. "It is our 10th Anniversary Show and it is confirmed to take place on Saturday 11th September, 2004 at the Central Club, 293 Swan St, Richmond (Melbourne, Australia). We hope to also announce some special guests (ex-members) and features for this special night in the coming weeks. More on this forthcoming huge event very, very soon!"
